Heilongjiang Bayi Agricultural University referred to as Bayi Agricultural University (HBAU),is a full-time ordinary university in Heilongjiang Province, with a complete education system for training bachelors, masters and doctors. it is the first batch of national pilot universities for the reform of the "Education and training Plan for Outstanding Agricultural and Forestry talents", the national "basic capacity Building Project of Colleges and Universities in the Central and Western regions", and the national graduates' employment typical experience colleges and universities.
The school was built in 1958. As of March 2020, the school covers an area of 1.204 million square meters, with a floor space of 380,000 square meters and a fixed asset value of 1.16 billion yuan. There are 47 undergraduate majors, 2 first-level disciplines authorized for doctoral degree, and 8 first-level disciplines authorized for master's degree; there are 1,397 faculty members; more than 14,600 full-time undergraduate students and 1,700 graduate students of various types.
